HMD Trucking is hiring for a dry van truck driving job in Rochester and nearby areas. Our dry van division offers steady freight, solid weekly miles, and competitive pay that rewards the work you put in on the road. With modern equipment, ongoing driver support, and year-round job availability, we provide a professional driving environment focused on stability and comfort.

65 CPM base pay on all miles, with drivers averaging around 2,500 miles per week and hauling no-touch freight.

Approximately 90% of our fleet consists of Peterbilt 579 trucks, supported by Freightliner Cascadia and Volvo models.

Requirements
Valid CDL Class A license
Minimum 1 year of CDL-A OTR driving experience
No DUI or DWI convictions within the past 5 years
No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
No excessive speeding violations (21+ mph over the limit) in the past 3 years
Applicants must be at least 23 years old at the time of application
Benefits
65 CPM base rate, with up to 10 CPM in additional bonuses
Drivers average approximately 2,500 miles per week
Home every two weeks, supporting a balanced work–life schedule

Detention pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
Layover pay: $100 for every 24-hour period
Orientation pay: $150
