HMD Trucking is hiring dry van truck driving jobs in Montgomery and nearby areas. Our dry van division offers steady freight, consistent miles, and competitive pay that rewards your effort on the road. A 65 CPM base rate on all miles, with drivers averaging around 2,500 miles per week and working with no-touch freight.
$2500 sign-on bonus and high referral bonuses for every qualified driver you bring to the team.

Approximately 90% of the fleet consists of the Peterbilt 579, supported by Freightliner Cascadia and Volvo trucks.
Multiple dry van openings in Montgomery and surrounding regions, available throughout the year.
Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 1 year of CDL-A OTR driving experience
No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years
No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
No excessive speeding violations (21+ mph over the limit) in the past 3 years
Applicants must be at least 23 years old at the time of application
Benefits
65 CPM base rate, plus up to 10 CPM in performance bonuses
Drivers average approximately 2,500 miles per week
Home every two weeks, supporting a balanced work-life schedule

Clean DOT inspection bonus: $100
Sign-on bonus: $2,500

Empty miles compensated at the same CPM as loaded miles
Detention pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
Layover pay: $100 for each 24-hour period
Orientation pay: $150
