HMD Trucking is hiring for dry van truck driving jobs in Hartford and surrounding areas. Our dry van division provides steady freight, consistent miles, and competitive pay that reflects the effort you put in on the road. With modern equipment, consistent operational support, and year-round job availability, we offer a professional driving environment focused on stability and comfort.

What Makes Driving with HMD Different:
$0.65 CPM base pay on all miles, with drivers averaging about 2,500 miles per week and hauling no-touch freight
$2,500 sign-on bonus and competitive referral bonuses for every qualified driver you refer
Additional pay for clean DOT inspections and successful onboarding completion

About 90% of our fleet is the legendary Peterbilt 579. We also utilize Freightliner’s flagship Cascadia and Volvo trucks.
Multiple dry van openings in Hartford and surrounding areas, available year-round.
Requirements
Valid CDL Class A
Minimum 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
No DUI/DWI within the last 5 years
No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
Must be at least 23 years old at the time of application
Benefits
$0.65 CPM base pay with up to $0.10 CPM in potential bonuses
Average of 2,500 miles per week

Layover pay: $100 for every 24 hours
Orientation pay: $150
