HMD Trucking is hiring for an OTR dry van truck driving job in Grand Rapids and nearby areas. Our dry van division offers steady freight, reliable miles, and competitive pay that reflects the effort you put in on the road. With modern equipment, consistent support, and year-round job availability, we deliver a professional driving experience built around stability and comfort.

What Makes Driving with HMD Different:
Base pay of $0.65 CPM on all miles, with drivers averaging approximately 2,500 miles per week and hauling no-touch freight.
$2,500 sign-on bonus, generous referral bonuses for every qualified driver you bring to the team.
Additional pay for clean DOT inspections and successful onboarding completion.
A supportive operations team and reliable, well-maintained equipment to keep you running efficiently.
About 90% of our fleet is the legendary Peterbilt 579. We also utilize Freightliner’s flagship Cascadia and Volvo trucks.
Multiple dry van openings in Grand Rapids and surrounding areas, available year-round.
Requirements
Valid CDL Class A
1 year of CDL-A OTR experience required
No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
65 CPM base pay with up to 10 CPM in potential bonuses
Average of 2,500 miles per week

Layover Pay: $100 for every 24 hours
Orientation Pay: $150
