HMD Trucking offers OTR dry van truck driving jobs in Chattanooga for CDL-A drivers who want consistent miles and strong earning potential. Our dry van division moves freight year-round, helping drivers maintain steady income and predictable schedules.
You’ll be driving late-model, well-maintained trucks and working with an operations team that keeps routes organised and miles flowing. These positions are ideal for drivers who want reliable OTR routes, professional support, and the opportunity to grow with a nationwide carrier.
What Sets Driving with HMD Apart:
Base pay starting at 65 CPM for all miles, with drivers averaging around 2,500 miles weekly and hauling no-touch freight.
Generous referral bonuses for every qualified driver you successfully refer.
Additional pay for clean DOT inspections and for completing the onboarding process.
A supportive operations team and well-maintained trucks that help you stay productive and on schedule.
Approximately 90% of our fleet consists of the iconic Peterbilt 579, alongside Freightliner Cascadia and Volvo tractors.
Multiple dry van openings in Chattanooga and surrounding regions, available throughout the year.
Requirements
Valid Class A CDL licence
Minimum of 1 year CDL-A OTR driving experience
No DUI or DWI offences within the past 5 years
No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents on record
No excessive speeding violations (21+ mph over the limit) within the last 3 years
Must be at least 23 years of age at the time of application
Benefits
Base pay of 65 CPM, with up to 10 CPM available in performance bonuses
Average weekly mileage of approximately 2,500 miles
Home time every two weeks to support work-life balance

Layover compensation of $100 per 24-hour period
