HMD Trucking is hiring for dry van truck driving jobs in Charlotte and nearby areas. Our dry van division offers steady freight, consistent miles, and competitive pay that reflects your work on the road. With modern equipment, ongoing support, and year-round opportunities, we create a driving experience focused on stability and comfort.

What Makes Driving with HMD Different:
Base pay of 65 CPM for all miles, with drivers averaging approximately 2,500 miles per week and hauling no-touch freight.
$2,500 sign-on bonus, high referral rewards for every qualified driver you bring on board.
Additional pay for clean DOT inspections and onboarding completion.
A supportive team and reliable equipment to help you stay productive on the road.
Around 90% of our fleet consists of Peterbilt 579 trucks, along with Freightliner Cascadia and Volvo models.
Multiple dry van openings in Charlotte and surrounding regions, available throughout the year.
Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
1 year of CDL-A OTR experience required
No DUI/DWI within the last 5 years
No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) within the last 3 years
Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
65 CPM base pay with up to 10 CPM in bonuses
Average of 2,500 miles per week

Empty miles paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
Detention Pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
Layover Pay: $100 for every 24 hours
Orientation Pay: $150
